After saying goodbye to our families, we boarding the plane for the trip of a lifetime. The flight was very long, but the food was plentiful and delicious. Most of us didn't get any sleep on the plane, but that was because we were watching movies, playing games, or reading. When we finally reached Ethiopia, we were over excited that we were half way through the plane ride to Malawi. We stopped for a spell to rest, and some of us explored the airport. When it was time to board the next flight, there was a little confusion with what line to get in, but we figured it out and continued our trip to Lilongwe. We received more food on the second flight and it was good. Most of us were able to sleep on the flight from Lilongwe to Blantyre. Once we got off the plane we were relieved that we finally made it too Malawi. The weather was so nice while we were at the airport. We rode comfortably to Annie's lodge in the vehicles that were arranged for us. Along the way we noticed the children, men women, houses, shops, plants, and the amazing scenery. Annie's lodge is beautiful and we were very grateful to stay there. The staff was very nice and we had free WiFi. Once we settled in we ate dinner and then retired to our rooms for a well deserved rest.
